About Us
Founder
Intentional Events was founded by Krystal — an event producer with roots in the UK music scene and a deep commitment to creating gatherings that feel as good as they look.
Krystal began her career in Manchester, producing club nights and working on major cultural events including The Warehouse Project, Becks Fusion Festival and Creamfields. She has worked as artist liaison for bands and DJ's such as Franz Ferdinand and Erol Alkan, across band management, production and marketing. Immersed in nightlife culture — performing in bands, reviewing gigs and building communities around music and art — she developed an instinct for atmosphere, flow and the emotional rhythm of a room.
After relocating to Wurundjeri Country in the Dandenong Ranges (Corhanwarrabul), everything shifted. Surrounded by nature and community, Krystal began questioning how events could evolve. Could they energise rather than exhaust? Could people leave feeling clearer instead of depleted?
This question led to the creation of ChillFest — a one-off wellness festival designed to prioritise nervous system regulation, connection and joy without the crash. It also deepened through her role as Events Fundraising Coordinator for Oxfam Trailwalker, where she supported participants undertaking 100km challenges to raise funds to tackle poverty. Witnessing thousands of people unite around purpose reinforced a powerful truth: meaningful experiences change people.
“Intentional Events was born from that intersection — culture and consciousness, energy and wellbeing.”
Today, Krystal designs experiences that are intentional from the inside out. Whether producing wellness-focused gatherings, volunteering for community celebrations, or new concepts such as Wake Up Sunshine — a nostalgic, health-conscious morning clubbing experience for modern families — every event is shaped with purpose.
